India Update Issue 26 | May 2011 LPTI
DIVISION OF LE PASSAGE TO INDIA TOURS & TRAVELS PVT. LTD.
Season’s Greetings!

India’s vastness and its unique location on the world map gives it the benefit of having a dynamic topography. Crowned by the great Himalayas in the north to the enormous Indian Ocean in the south, tapered by wetlands of the east to arid deserts in the west, there’s enormous diversity in India’s landscape, which also gives it a diversity in climatic conditions from Montane to Tropical type.

With summers at its peak, this India Update edition will acquaint you with some of the most favoured summer destinations of India. Begin your Indian journey this May with a beautiful Valley of Flowers that comes to life in the month of June when the Himalayan snow begins to melt and give rise to hundreds of naturally growing flowers in the nature bound state of Uttarakhand. Going further up to the state of Himachal Pradesh you’ll find a serene desert mountain valley Spiti, tucked away in the Trans-Himalayan belt, which is so unique that it makes it a living museum in itself. The beauty of being in the hills is when you get to experience yoga in nature’s lap, best to do at the Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh.

These mountainous beauty are not just bound to the north, move down south to mountain ranges of Nilgiris that consists of some of the most beautiful hill stations of South India. Also mark your calendars for an upcoming grand cultural fiesta of Rath Yatra (The Chariot Festival) in Puri, Orissa.

We hope this India Update delights your travelling buds, do keep writing into us, we love to hear from you.

Have an Incredible Day & Week !

Warm regards

Arjun Sharma
