Season’s Greetings!

With the month of May, comes the celebration of family vacations, bright sunny days and occasional rainfall which has its own charm in this Sunshine Country. It is a pleasure to present to you this week edition of the India Update that focuses on the many exciting facets of Incredible India!

The India Update features for you, the beautiful region of Ladakh, where serenity is beckons you! With the onset of summers, sipping a glass of chilled wine is a certain pleasure, so, here’s an option to pack your bags and head for our signature India wine tour, else reserve yourself to encounter wilderness and luxury in its full glory at the Blackbuck Lodge in the Velavadar National Park in Gujarat.

Incredible India, is synonymous with temples and cultural richness, in this issue, we introduce you to two of the architectural splendours – The Halebidu Temples near Hassan & The Ellora Caves near Aurangabad. Also on focus is the vibrant Lamayuru Gompa Festival when the town of Leh plays host to the very interesting and colourful masked dances. A must see for everyone!

For the food connoisseurs , we share with you the secret behind the rich and delicious Indian curries in our Interesting Facts section, this also includes a recipe for one of my favourite Indian curry especially for you! Also featured, is an informative article on Medical Tourism giving Destination India a whole new dimension.

We are happy to share with you, details of a recent initiative of the Le Passage Travel Foundation “Shaping Lives”. Last week, saw the special children from our partner NGO Umang in Jaipur , celebrate with some of our European Guest at a Elephant Polo match hosted by our clients for these children. Bringing joy to these special children is always a pleasure, do read more about this meaningful interaction in our What’s New at Le Passage section. And once again a heartfelt thank you to all your partners for your support and encouragement to our foundation.
